Troubleshooting your gasoline engine's ignition system is made easier by plugging the Hall-effect sensor into this tester. Next, rotating the engine's magnet past the sensor triggers a audible tone, which verifies the sensor is working.

Also includes a degree wheel, which when mouted to the engine's prop shaft allows you to very acurately determine top dead center and at how many degrees of advance the ignition will fire (typically somewhere around 28 degrees BTDC - Before Top Dead Center).

You'll be the hero when you pull this compact tester out of your troubleshooting bag of tricks.
