You've seen them installed on the top pilot's machines for
a reason. It's because it effectively shortens the triangle
of the boom supports, which makes it stiffer. Consequently, this
inexpensive 3D Tail Bridge gives a lot of bang for the buck. Installation
couldn't be more simple because you just zip-tie the halves into place on the
boom support, slip the washer under the Allen-head bolt to join them, snug
the nylon-locking nut, and you're done. If the OD of the boom steadies of
your model is too large, just trim the plastic with a modeling knife a little
bit until they fit and as simple as that you've done more for enhacing the
rigidity of the tail boom than pretty much anything else you can do.
