Intro
America's in recession and we're in the leisure industry, yet we must be
doing something right as despite the unprecedented difficulties facing our
economy, Genesis Hobby has been blessed with modest sales growth, which means
we're hiring! Moreover, while our products are pick-of-the-litter, they're also
discretionary so if customers aren't happy, they have alternatives. Thus, we
exist for one reason . . . to serve our customers. This guides our every
customer interaction, and combined with good products, is key to our
success.
Details
Whether you're fielding a support call, editing a web page, or packing an
order, know this . . . the only important thing is whether our customer is
happy. If they're not happy for any reason it's up to us to figure out how to
make them happy, which ultimately means paying attention to the smallest detail.
The Devil is in the details is an old German saying, and nowhere is it more true
than around here where even using your instead of you're (the proper contraction
for 'you are') on a web page may irritate some customers. Ultimately, your job
is to get it right, no excuses. If you become part of our team, you're either
contributing to our success - or risk being perceived as part of the problem -
thereby finding yourself out on your ass because our success pretty much derives
entirely from satisfying our customers.
